Publisher's Descriptions
This extension reduces the amount of clicking when using most iBistro implementations, a popular library online public access catalogue (OPAC) used at universities, K-12 schools, and private and public libraries.
Configuration options permit the user to view an item’s details inside of the search results page by clicking on an embedded link or the user can view the record by simply mousing over an item on the search results page. Either of these two methods will reduce clicking and save you time. See http://www.3windmills.com/sirsinoclick/ for a (partial) list of libraries using this OPAC.
Since this extension was developed originally to more easily access information on the Rutgers University library website, if you are one of the 48,000 students at RU, you will also be able to hit enter to begin searching the library catalogue from the library homepage, instead of having to click the search button.
